Single? A couple? A small group of curious wine lovers? If you feel like sipping, chatting and exploring Croatian wines in good company — this service is exactly what you are looking for. With Rent-a-Wine-Buddy, you’re not just booking a tasting — you’re bringing a local wine insider to your table.
Over the course of 2 to 3 hours, I’ll guide you through a tailor-made selection of Croatian wines and share stories that never make it to the label: from our indigenous grape varieties and regional wine styles to the quirks of winemakers, terroir tales and a few spicy industry secrets. Think of it as a relaxed, laid-back wine session — held wherever you feel most comfortable: a cozy wine bar, a fine restaurant, or that hidden local spot only locals know about.
I take care of the details — suggesting the venue, making the reservation, curating the wine list and pairing ideas — so all you have to do is sit back, sip and enjoy the moment. You cover the evening’s tab (including my part, of course 😉) and a flat hosting fee.

Introduction To Croatian Wines
Wine has a way of slowing down time – especially when it’s shared in good company. With diWine Soirée, you’re invited into an intimate tasting experience that turns every sip into a story.

In this setup, a group of 4 to 6 people can discover the richness of Croatian wines in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Over the course of two to three hours, we’ll journey through a curated flight of 10 hand-picked wines, each chosen to surprise, delight, and reveal something new about our terroir and traditions.

This is not a lecture, nor a stiff tasting. It’s an invitation to explore, laugh, and ask questions as we move from glass to glass – guided by a friendly hand, yet open enough to let the wines speak for themselves. Your own private wine salon.

Bubbles have their own magic – and in Croatia, they tell a story of tradition, passion, and terroir. In this sparkling workshop, you’ll dive into the world of Croatian sparkling wines, from the crisp freshness of the Plešivica region to the delicate charm of Istrian bubbles and beyond.

During this 2,5-hour workshop, we’ll explore different sparkling styles and the winemakers behind them. You’ll learn what makes Croatian sparkling unique, how it compares with global classics, and of course – enjoy a carefully curated tasting flight of 8 sparkling wines, paired with light bites.

Bacically, a touch of glamour served in a relaxed atmosphere that will make the bubbles taste even better. Discover why Croatia is becoming one of the most exciting sparkling destinations in Europe.

When you say “I need a break”, we hear “I need wine”.

This short, mid-day, 75-minute tasting welcomes you with a glass of refreshing sparkling wine and takes you on a brief guided tour through Croatian wine regions, sprinkled with a few fun historical facts. Bubbly, white, rosé, and red – you’ll taste them all, paired with some delicious bites, in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

After that, you’ll be more than ready to continue exploring and admiring our beautiful city. ;)
